Daily Animal Care

(Approx $1500 / month)

Feeding and caring for so many animals every day means that every week we use:

• cases of wet food

• bags of dry food

• pounds of litter

• boxes of treats

• dozens of beds and blankets

• many, many toys

Medical/Veterinary Care

(Approx $2000 / month)

Every cat, kitten, puppy and dog we take in goes through a complete medical check on intake, including:

• Vaccinations

• Deworming

• Fecal exam

• Eyes, ears & lungs check

• Disease testing

• Additional needed vet care

Then, once they are of age, every cat and dog is spayed or neutered.

Our Staff!

Our amazing and dedicated employees are the HEART and SOUL of our facility. They deserve to be well compensated for the excellent care they provide, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They are caring for our animals every weekend, on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and every other holiday, and through every storm, blizzard and hurricane!

General Operating Costs

We may be a charity that cares for animals but we have the same bills every other business does, including rent, utilities, insurance, accounting, maintenance, repairs, vehicle costs, equipment upkeep, computers, taxes… everything that goes along with the day-to-day of being available to help and care for Logan County’s animals every day of the week.
