Join our Foster Family Program!

Sometimes we receive animals who need extra special care. That’s when we turn to our Foster Families. When we have nursing moms of puppies or kittens, animals that have come through surgery, very young or very old pets, dogs or cats that need some extra help or extra attention for one reason or another, we reach out to our Foster Family network.

 
As a Foster you’ll receive everything you need to care for the dogs or cats you take in, including food, litter, medications, formula, medical care, and beds and other supplies as needed. In return, you provide extra special love, care, attention and socialization in your home, and bring them to check-ups and vet appointments as needed.

Fostering is a short-term commitment, usually a few days to a few weeks, although some surgeries and new nursing moms can be up to 8 weeks. By taking in a Foster animal you free up much-needed space in our center, allowing us to save the life of another dog or cat in our community.
